About This Role

We are looking for a Unity Developer to join our production team for upcoming projects. You will work on gameplay systems, technical features, tools, optimization, and implementation across our development pipeline. This role is open on a part-time or full-time basis depending on experience, availability, and project fit. The listed compensation range reflects full-time annualized base pay; part-time engagements would be prorated based on expected hours and scope.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve core game systems and technical features in Unity
  • Implement gameplay mechanics and supporting systems based on design and production requirements
  • Optimize performance, stability, and scalability across target platforms
  • Build internal tools, editor utilities, and workflow improvements where needed
  • Support prototyping, iteration, and feature validation during pre-production and production
  • Collaborate closely with game design to translate gameplay goals into reliable implementation
  • Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and engineering discussions
  • Contribute to build readiness, bug fixing, and release-quality polish

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional Unity development experience in a production environment
  • Strong C# and object-oriented programming skills
  • Experience building and maintaining gameplay systems, technical features, and production-ready architecture in Unity
  • Experience shipping at least one commercial game on PC or console
  • Strong understanding of profiling, debugging, memory management, and performance optimization
  • Experience with source control and collaborative development workflows, including Git
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-structured code with strong documentation habits
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with design, art, and production in a remote team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Availability for reasonable overlap with U.S. working hours
